Well, we’re into December, so the Christmas specials are starting to pop up on TV again. It’s pretty sad, but they keep trying to create new specials that just don’t capture the essence of the season like some of the classics. Of course, I’m talking about stuff like It’s A Wonder Life, Miracle on 34th Street, The Peanuts Christmas Special and, of course, How The Grinch Stole Christmas. Burl Ives’ rendition of You’re A Mean One, Mr. Grinch is outstanding. It’s a really cool track that just works with his deep voice. I’ve heard a couple covers of this, most notably, by Sixpence None The Richer. I managed to find a punk version this week that I like and think is pretty cool. You’re listening to that and all this:
