Usually when you hear a song what sticks with you is the chorus. It’s the part that’s catchy, memorable and what you’ll be singing long after the song has finished. It’s pretty rare to hear a song and think that it’s the weakest part of the track. Well, that’s what happens every time I hear today’s lead track. The intro has lots of energy and I love the riff. The verses carry it forward, setting the table, but the chorus is just a big let down. It changes rhythm and just doesn’t seem to fit. Too bad because it’s still a decent song but could be a great song.
