I know what you’re thinking The Brown Couch of Leisure featured so many Record Store Day exclusives that there couldn’t possibly be anything left. Well, fortunately for you, there was a ton of stuff that was released just for last Saturday that there is a little bit of it left over that I can use this week. I saw a quote from a recap of the day with a number of shop owners saying this day was bigger than Christmas for them. I guess it just shows that there are still some people out there that still care about purchasing physical copies of albums, whether your poison is CD or you’re one of those people that buys vinyl… Actually, I’m one of those guys…
Anyways, hopefully you got a chance to get out there and support your local record store. Plus remember that even if you couldn’t make it there last week, they’re still open the rest of the year offering you great music and, often times, judgmental glares as they determine how cool you are by what you buy.
