Happy new year and what not. I hope if you celebrated festivities that they were festive.
Now onto business.
I whittled all of the songs I played on the BCoL in 2009 down to 72 tracks. It was hard. There are a lot of casualties and some decisions which were tough to make. A lot of my favourites which I sprinkled into the show through out the year aren’t in this list as they either weren’t new tracks or have already been lauded and praised enough. Most of the tracks selected are from 2009 or late 2008 with some exceptions which I don’t need to justify.
Mid way through recording this podcast, I realized two shows would be very very long, so I’m splitting up the 72 tracks into three shows. This is for your enjoyment, so enjoy.
I love doing this show and will continue into 2010. I hope you love it as much and if this list of the best tracks has anything to say about it, I’m pretty sure if you have ears, you enjoyed.
