I find as I get older, I care less about Christmas, “the day,” and find I enjoy Christmas, “the season,” more and more. Luckily, in Canada, we get to start this season much earlier than our American friends… as far as I’m concerned, the day after Remembrance Day is fair came for Yuletide cheer. As a Christian man, Easter is the real pinnacle of religious celebrations, but the celebration of Christmas and the birth of Jesus is just as important, and I believe that’s why people believe this season brings such an emphasis of the importance of family.

And like song and music has always historically been a part of the way people have celebrated God, in church, in private or on stage, music is also an important part in the way we celebrate Christmas.

So with that said, here’s the first of a few Christmas playlists you’ll find on Silent Talkie Radio this month.
