I know some of my listeners are familiar with the cartoon The Boondocks. I used its theme song in a previous episode from long ago and got a couple comments. In the show, we’re eventually introduced to a character named “A Pimp Named Slickback”. People try to shorten it, but he corrects them, informing them that you can’t shorten it, that it’s like “A Tribe Called Quest”. What does this have to do with my podcast? Am I playing A Tribe Called Quest? Not really. I am playing a cover of A Tribe Called Quest song, so you’ll have to be happy with that. Onto the playlist:
