And again, hello.
Slackers, layabouts, the dutch and me… all missed last week’s show. And for that, I’m not sorry at all because I’ve made up for it in spades, hearts and clovers as well.
This weekend was the first time all three STRadio show creators were in the same place at one time since our creation of STRadio and it was good times. We had some grand plans, but Mario Kart Wii got in the way. We did however listen to and talk about great music during a drive into Boston, MA. As well, some plans are just far too grand to ignore and you’ll be the beneficiary in the future and that’s all I can say.
What did come out of our discussion is that the BCOL is essentially a corporate mouthpiece for the horrible massive labels and even though I think I’m finding new music on my own, or supporting bands, I’m not. At least I think that’s what Tyrone was getting at. I think he’s right, but I didn’t want to admit it. Plus he owes me some money and I don’t think he’d pay if he saw the fat cheques I’m going to cash.
Needless to say, if we got paid for quality we’d be richer than astronauts, but we don’t and we don’t really get money from massive labels, but if we did, I’m pretty sure you’d be the last to know.
Also, go see 500 Days of Summer (no this is not a paid advert) as it’s essentially a visual pop song and is awesome.
