Aaron Sprinkle might be completely unfamiliar to you but he’s had a big impact on my life. A Picture of the Eighth Wonder is one of my favourite albums of all time and soundtracked much of my high school days. A lot of my university career was spent with the other Poor Old Lu albums and his solo stuff in the background. And since then I’ve spun The Waiting Room and the Fair album quite a bit as well. When you add to it his production work (MxPx, Soulfood 76, Pedro The Lion, Grammatrain, plus just about every Tooth & Nail album since 2004), his work has quite the presence in my record collection. For all the influence that Seattle had on the music industry in the 90s, Aaron Sprinkle and Jeremy Enigk were the two that really impacted my listening experiences. Here’s the Tracklist:

Poor Old Lu – All Pretty For The TV from “Mindsize”

Poor Old Lu – Sickly from “Sin”
Poor Old Lu – Lie, Lie, Lie from “Striaght Six” EP
Poor Old Lu – What If Uncle Ben Had Lived? from “A Picture Of The Eighth Wonder”

Rose Blossom Punch – Par Avion from “Ephemere”

Aaron Sprinkle – Solace from “Moontraveler”
Aaron Sprinkle – Not About To from “The Kindest Days”
Aaron Sprinkle – The Boy Who Stopped The World from “Bareface”

Fair – Unglued from “The Best Worst-Case Scenario”

MxPx – Want Ad from “Pokinatcha”
Soulfood 76 – Zebra 3 from “Original Soundtrack”

FM Static – My First Stereo from “What Are You Waiting?”
Demon Hunter – Fading Away from “Storm The Gates Of Hell”

Poor Old Lu – The Waiting Room from “The Waiting Room”

Thanks again for listening and I’ll see you next week.
