I don’t usually strive for gender equality on this podcast — usually I just play whatever I’m into, or whatever new music I’ve found and hope it all works together in a nice, uninterrupted flow. This week, I wanted to have a podcast filled only with female voices, if only because it seems that outside of tracks by Katie Stelmanis and maybe the Welcome Wagon, I generally don’t have a lot of women on the podcast. So, in order to rectify that, I’ve put together an entirely female dominated setlist, one that also begins with some retro backbeats, some rock, and then some weirdness. Enjoy!
