Guys!
How’s it going? It’s been so long!! Ok, so I took a vacation and didn’t setup a show… sorry. But I’m sure there’s some old timey wisdom about loving and setting free and a butcher, but I don’t remember it. It might have involved a shoe or throwing a baby… forget it.
Needless to say, BCOL never really went anywhere, it just went to Vermont for a few days. So it did go somewhere. Vermont.
This show is full of some new finds and some old faves. In my excitement for the upcoming Lotus gig in New Haven, I’ve added an awesome track from their last cd… and boom goes the dynamite for that one! So awesome. Plus, other greats and fantastics!!
And here my friends, is a lovely list of tracks…. a tracklist if you will:
Bishop Allen – Rain – The Broken String
The Boy Least Likely Too – Saddle Up – The Law of the Playground
The Antlers – Two (request!)
Tilly and the Wall – Urgency – Bottoms of Barrels
The Mountain Goats – Palmcorder Yajna
The Figurines – The Wonder – Skeleton
The Broken Family Band – Salivating – Please and Thank You
Colonies – Floating Fast – Sleep Patterns
Grand Archives – The Crime Window – S/T
Great Lake Swimmers – Pulling On A Line – Lost Channels
Okkervil River – Singer Songwriter – The Stand-ins
The Russian Futurists – Sentiments vs. Syllables – Our Thickness
Lotus – Hammerstrike – Hammerstrike
The Secret Machines – Nowhere Again – Now Here Is Nowhere
The Silent Film Soundtrack – Track 4 – A Topological Redhead Demo EP
Bocce – Mature Trees – Should Be An Olympic Sport
Joel Plaskett – Through & Through & Through – 3 (or something)
hooray.

I do really like that GLS song but I won’t be using it this week. I’ve got some other surprises lined up.
