This week’s podcast comes at a sad time for my family, as one week ago we suffered the loss of Pat, my wife’s father. It was sudden and tragic and has left everyone reeling. However, he wouldn’t want us to stand around, sad and mopey — he would much prefer that we celebrate, and know that he’s still with us, rocking out upon a heavenly throne. So if this week’s “Put Your Heart Into It” seems more like an excerpt from the Mighty Q’s Psychedelic Psunday, then too bad for you. You can come back next week and I’ll play the new single from the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, but until then, this is a collection of music I know that Pat would have loved, music that we both spent time enjoying and talking about together.

Awesome. I have a soft spot for classic rock (thanks in part to my 2 older brothers). Loved the Steely Dan track. Always love a little Zeppelin too.
