After a few (is three a few?) issues, I figured now would be a good time to go over some things.
Item 1: SilentTalkie is back. Three issues shows you, the loyal and fickle reader, our passion and determination to get this little rag out every week. Every week.
Item 2: The site is still a bit buggy. Granted the bugs are hidden and more stealthy, but they are there. We like a bit of character in our art zines, but we are working to fix them up so you condo livin’, perfect hair-parting, triple foam-decaf-soy-no-fat-water drinking readers can be more comfortable. For those that appreciate the character, we’ll hide some bugs special.
Item 3: I’m not completely sold on the design of the site yet. I know I designed it, but things are going to change. And they will, but again (as with Item 2) time is a factor. We do have lives other than SilentTalkie (although it may not seem that way).
Item 4: Squid. What’s the deal? If you don’t know, I can’t help you. Keep looking and you’ll find out why… and if you do, please let me know!
Item 5: Additions. Once we’ve got this new system down a bit better, we’re going to be adding stuff. Some will be knock-your-socks-to-your-nose fantastic and others will be just plain awesome, but they are coming. You want hints? It affects and effects your ears, your closet, your eyes and possibly even that thing that hangs from the roof of your mouth (I think the technical term is “la-thingy”.)
Item 6: Bears. We need to put way more money into the Bear Patrol.
Item 7: IE stupidness. If you’re viewing this in IE6 or less, there is a spacing problem. I haven’t fixed it yet, but I will soon. For now, switch browsers and you’ll be happy.
